  We were entranced... We sailed the eastern seas off the coast of Albay Province for our weekend getaway. Every time we see a beige sand beach common in the area, the enigmatic Mayon Volcano peers over the scenery.           The 2018-19 Holiday Season was particularly amusing for our family.  On Christmas Eve, my sister prepared a cheesecake with fruit medley overlay.  I should mention that she has this special ability in preparing foods.  Christmas 2018. Our family unwrapping the gifts. My sister was holding our pet cat Chloe Ands.           Since childhood, she always had this distinct talent in concocting delicious meals for the family; every dish she completes seems to have an artist’s touch. My first ocular inspection of a client's property has been fascinating. It was a nice, seaside lot facing a beach unique from all others I've been to. Before my short sojourn, all I thought was that it's going to be an ordinary white-sand beach. After all, that's what my client told me so. It wasn't anything like that at all, however. Our tour guide asked me if the place is comparable to Boracay. I bluntly said, " no , but I don't want white-sand beaches anymore as I've been to so many before. This is something else, this is something more special ." If you think there can only be five or so colors of beaches there are in the world, Cagraray Island will prove you wrong. 2024 || Enter the Green Dragon

  It's always nice to look back and reminisce one's fondest memories. Seeing old pictures evokes many emotions, mostly good, sometimes bad but somehow still gives you peace (reminding you of how you managed to get out of the rut). Good pictures are always good, no matter what was actually going on. After all, a sad movie can still be a masterpiece. In 2024, I learned so many valuable lessons that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Though I didn't really venture out of Bicol Region this year, I was still able to enjoy and have fun. In 2023, we went to Europe and, even here in the Philippines, I saw many masterpieces with strong foreign elements.  This year, on the other hand, the things I saw were mostly native and local (with little to no foreign element). Nonetheless, they're not any less superior. Coming home and enjoying home gave 2024 its own vibe and zeitgeist. All in all, 2024 has been a decent year so far... Our Dancing Queen 👑

  Young and sweet. Only seventeen. That is our dancing queen, our sweet and beautiful mother. She can dance, she can jive... Having the time of her life... Our mother was born on May 3rd, 1954. She was originally named " Maria Cruz Venus Mapusao " but our lola changed her mind when our mum kept falling sick. The name sounded ominous as it reminded them of the "cross" so she was renamed " Nancy ," a name that sounds simple and easy-breezy. Excited for her first dancing party after the pandemic. February 2021 Our mother is celebrating her seventeenth birthday today somewhere in Japan so she is not dancing with her friends and buddies as she would usually do on Saturdays. As you can see, our mum loves dancing, and "Dancing Queen" is one of her all-time favorite songs. She would always sing this song on Karaoke or Magic Sing. All the time.
